I grew up on a farm, where I learned to work with my hands and developed a deep respect for the value of hard work. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and in 2019, my oldest daughter and I became beekeepers, continuing a hands-on connection to agriculture and stewardship.

Barrels Iowa started in 2012 as a simple home project to install rain barrels at my own residence. As neighbors and friends saw the system in action, they began asking me to build and install rain barrels for them. What began as a personal solution grew into Barrels Iowa, helping homeowners capture rainwater efficiently and sustainably.
